I’m now offering all new courses that will help you achieve your photographic landscape goals. It will save you the energy of trying on your own to weed out the information you need and the one you don’t. It will save you money in more than one way. The equipment discussions alone should pay in the long run for your course.

But most importantly you will be able to address right away you burning need to make better photos. So that your next great outdoor adventures are accompanied with equally great photographs. Professionals spend years acquiring knowledge and amateurs often never quite find the elusive secrets that turn a camera into a medium of self expression. As artists we even embrace agony as part of our creative paths but for someone seeking to be submerged into the photographic realm of landscape photography the agony of not being able to control the medium offers no creative rewards. These courses are here to help put these challenges in their order.

We will cover many topics that surround landscape photography. From scouting to lighting and the different way it affects various subjects in nature. We will tackle questions of composition without falling into clichés about rules. I will work on your very own images and turn them into Photoshop video tutorials. You will be given assignments and I will then in return give you detailed critiques on the images you have taken.

Course requirements

Participants must own Photoshop and a SLR camera with interchangeable lenses*.

All images submitted for processing purposes must be in Raw format and all Images submitted for critique in JPG format. Image transfer is done via FTP or Messenger.

You must allocate a minimum of time to take photographs during the duration of the course as well as time to work on images.

Although we meet once a week, in between that time it is highly recommended you make some time to complete certain tasks.

*If you are completely new to photography and do not have a camera yet but would like to purchase a SLR or you have never worked with Photoshop and have no knowledge of the program and never processed an image before please contact me in advance to discuss a special course for you.
